Duties:

  • Administers day-to-day operations under direction of Executive Director and acts in place of Executive Director when Executive Director is not present
  • Approves vouchers for all checks written and transfers funds between bank accounts
  • Provides primary staff support for Circles and for the management of standards
  • Provides primary staff support and management of extension efforts
Bio:
Ken began his position with Omicron Delta Kappa in November 2004. He was initiated into the Society at Georgia State University that April, where he served as Faculty Secretary. He is also an active member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.

Ken earned an Educational Specialist degree and Master's degree in Educational Administration from the University of Missouri in Kansas City, and pursued graduate studies in Mass Communications at the University of Central Missouri, and more recently, doctoral studies in Instructional Systems Design at the University of Kentucky. He holds an Arts Baccalaureate in Theatre from Western Kentucky University, and an Associate's degree in Business from Ambassador College in Texas.

Ken and his wife enjoy travel, and met while Ken was working for the nonprofit organization People to People International, in positions that provided him numerous opportunities to visit and work with volunteers in Asia and Europe. He has also worked as an International Student Advisor, taught English in Thailand for a year, and spent a number of years in high school and college working as a disc jockey and news director.
